So I know we are always saying that we are going to be doing some recording soon. Well...we are going to be actually dipping our toes in the water come mid-September, just to see how we like it. We've even booked it...

Hux has set up an Alocacoce MySpace thing, you can find it here. There are a couple of tunes on there for you to listen to from the gig at The Sun a few weeks ago.

Be our friend and leave us a message.

Alocacoce are going to be appearing on Lutterworth Radio at the beginning of August for a half hour session/interview on the Mark Hillier show. This will probably be on the 3rd of August.

Lutterworth Radio can be found at 97.5 MHz on your FM dial or streamed direct from their website.

Just to keep you all in the loop, we will not now be playing the Pilot My Corpse gig on the 27th May, Instead we will be playing a proper Kiajaroovah gig for Bats on Fire in Leicester instead. It has been too long since we last played properly and it's about time we showed off the new tunes.

Well, there are a couple of Kiajaroovah related gigs lined up for next months Bank Holiday. So if you miss us so much that you just must come and see us in the flesh then's your chance. No actual 'roovah action as such but for a sneak preview of new Kiajaroovah tracks the Alocacoce gig might just be your thing...

Gigs?

Well we have none right now. But The Acousti'roovah! (Alocacoce?) will be playing at a lovely summer festival, in the umm...summer. Well as far as I know. The drummer is organising it so, well...you can see the problem I have giving you definate information. But I have heard rumours!

Just so it's not all cancelled gigs around here I just thought I'd say that the usual squabbling aside, all is roses in Kiajaroovah land at the moment. Evidence? All in good time. Come and see us when we are ready to gig again and see for yourself.

So, if all goes to plan the Persausive Electric Blanket Lounge will be the last Kiajaroovah gig for a while. But the sounds page will be back up and running in the meantime with regular updates to keep you all sated until we decide to play out again. so umm..don't worry your little Kiajaroovah addicted selves over it.

Exciting news in camp Kiajaroovah this week as I almost managed to completely knacker a finger by getting it a bit caught up in some machinery. Six stitches and hopefully no lasting damage means that I got lucky. Unfortunately for most people, it means that when it has healed I will still be able to "play" the guitar. There will be no gig cancellations, as if anyone cares about that...

Like Buses...

After a leave of absence over the summer we have not one, not two, but three gigs this month. Look at you there all spoilt for choice. Shall I go to Worksop, Leicester or perhaps Coalville? Surely there are benefits to be said for all of them. But which one should I choose and why? If I go to the Worksop gig i can be safe in the knowledge that all my scenester buddies will be none the wiser for it, If I go to the Leicester gig I would be able to see Old Basford, a good reason to go to a gig if ever there was one. However if I was to go to the Coalville gig, I hear they do a good selection of greasy food there. hmm... decisions, decisions...
